Episod 1

Di Mesir, Aidil bersolat menadah tangan untuk berdoa. Di Australia, Adam sedang belajar dikelilingi kawan-kawan dan tin-tin beer, hilai ketawa. Ustaz Hassan dikejutkan isterinya Hjh Khadijah lalu doktor menerangkan apa yang telah diketahuinya. Hayatnya telah sampai ke penghujung. Penyakit yang dihidapinya tidak dapat diubati lagi. Dia senyum dengan tenang dan menutup matanya lagi. Aidil mengucapkan selamat tinggal kepada kawan sekuliahnya setelah mereka tamat pengajian. Aidil menerima panggilan telefon dari Hjh Khadijah menyampaikan berita tentang ayahnya. Adam pulang ke hostel dan mendengar suara ibunya dari mesin pesanan suara, dia kaku tiada reaksi. Di stesen keretapi Kuala Lumpur Aidil menunggu ketibaan Adam. Tiada bayang-bayang Adam. Aidil kecewa dan menaiki keretapi. Adam tiba dan duduk di sebelah Aidil. Mereka berpelukan, keretapi meluncur laju. Aidil dan Adam tiba di Kuala Kangsar dan pandangan mereka tertumpu pada seorang gadis jelita, Nur Amina.

Nur Kasih - The drama

hmmm... Nur kasih again??? yup.. this time is about the hottest drama on TV3... I am not going to put up any comment about the drama coz as I said.. I am a fan... I love watching drama... and I mean in any language.. be it in malay, english, korean, japan, indonesian, mexican or even tagalog... I'll watch them if the story line can nail me on the screen... and for now.. I'm watching Nur Kasih on TV3, Rahsia Hati and Sekar on Astro Prima.. among dramas/telenovela that caught up my heart... Emil Emilda, Exora, Manja Lara, La Usurpadora, Full House (korean), Betty La Fea, and... maybe I'll list them down one day...

nasib baikla dah nak abis Nur Kasih ni.....

actually my post has nothing to do with the hottest drama on TV3 airing every Friday night at 9.00 p.m... but I am a fan... well.. as I promised earlier I will post my princesses' baju raya.. dah lama teringin nak buat english rose comel2 ni.. akhirnya berjaya jugak... though not as what I imagined.. but at least dapat jugakla buat for my princesses...

both having same design.. hehehe.. gara2 dah tak sempat nak pk any other design... finished them up at 10.00 p.m malam raya hari tu.. isk isk isk.. it's known in my family that I will be handling thread n needle every malam raya... it was ever since I started sewing my own baju back in 1990...

okay... now is about the hampers' cover.. remember the 12 designs I made for my brother? here they are.. they are not all but at least I can post them here.. luckily my buddy... Lin.. taken up the pics in her phone.... not so clear.. but good enough...

I missed 1 design... sebab yang the last piece buat  right before my bro came to pick up the hampers...

another project by the end of raya fest... I baked n rolled fondant on cupcakes... been dying to try... mula2 ingat nak pakai butter cream jer or try buat sendiri the fondant but my colleague suggested that I should simply grab the ready made fondant from the baking store rather than made it by myself... considering it... tada... just some pieces of them...

nampak sangat tak creative!! hehe.. nak cepat sebab my bro and aunty (coming over from JB) dah siap  nak gi beraya sakan... maklumla.. that was the second last day of the raya fest... those cuppies pun I kirim jer kat my neighbor coz tak leh join the gathering that nite..

wah.... so many pics in one post.... last but not least a cheese cake... I ate the bestest one at my ex-neighbor on her birthday... and asked for the recipe... tapi sayangnya.. uhuk!uhuk! it is not as good as she baked.. but I'll try again and again and again... hehehe.... my daughters pun dah tak lalu nak makan.. so I should stop dulu... tunggu next month ker.. baru try again... so... thank you to Aina and rinnchan for the recipe... actually I baked for my hubby's birthday... tapi the deco didn't look good... so I didn't post it here...

salam.... lamanya tak update... hmm.. where should I start... alhamdulillah.. my raya projects work well.. thanks to my bro who ordered a bunch of raya hampers... nak pengsan jugak menyiapkan... but I did enjoy doing them... and puas hati... these are some of the photos.. of the hampers...

Here are the one that I sold in container... thanks to Suraya and Jai (her hubby) tolong promote the cookies.. hope can do again in the coming years... and not forgetting thanks to Pau yang tolong promote jugak in the office (dalam tengah sarat tu)... and congratulations on your new born baby... dapatla baby beraya dengan mama dia...

And dalam sibuk2 baking for customers.. sempat jugak try baking Carrot Cheese Cake in cuppy.. but I think I need to modify the recipe a bit to the satisfaction because it tasted a bit too sweet both for the cake and the cheese icing... and the texture of the cake is not like I used to eat (like the one in secret recipe... whoa... macam terrer nak lawan secret recipe..).. hmm... tak habis makan sendiri kat rumah so I gave them to my colleagues for their comments... I will do it again and again sampai puas hati....

okay.. till next post.. upcoming will be baju raya la pulak.. tak snap lagi... apa pun think it still not too late to say... SELAMAT HARI RAYA... MAAF ATAS SEGALA KESALAHAN YANG ADA...

I made 12 different designs for these type.. the hamper inclusive of 4 cookies... Blueberry Tart.. Pineapple Tart.. Chocolate Chips and Almond Chocolate Chips... thanks to Lin yang sama2 giving ideas and approved the designs.. ingat nak upload semua 12 designs but unfortunately hubby's memory card tu corrupted la pulak.. huhu.. frust jer... habis semua gambar.. including gambar raya hari tu... opps... talking about gambar raya.. we didn't posed for family pic pun.. sebab masa semua sibuk tengah posing.. adam tido.. then bila dia awake kita orang dah sibuk2 nak balik kampung Atok pulak...

raya preparation..

it's been quite sometimes since my last post.. hmmm.. I've been busy (kononnya la...) baking tart sample.. baju raya and everything... macam tak dela rasa excited sangat pasal raya ni.. just prepare for the kids.. beli baju 3 pasang each and baju kurung sepasang each... itu ajelah.. next week I'll be busy baking again for the orders.. since raya will be on sunday.. most people will be on leave much earlier.. so i have to make sure the tarts and choc chips are ready before my clients leaving for raya.. here are the tarts for kak zu who ordered at any time out of the season.. sambil buat sampel I fulfilled her wish as well...

pineapple tart and blueberry tart.. sorry no photo for choc chips... terlupa nak snap.. maklumlah sambil2 baking sambil2 berkejar dengan my little prince yang sangat rajin memanjat now ni... not to mention my small round table dah gone with the wind coz dah few times di tolak oleh that little munchkin... and finally terpatahlah jua akhirnya.. I didnt even notice meja tu dah patah... when I asked his elder sis.. she said.. "entahlah mama.. dia patah sendiri... " what an answer... tak apalah.. afterall with that little sweetheart.. memang tak boleh nak berhias rumah... everything dah kena simpan... here some of his photos..

oh airasia... everyone can fly but not me!!

My dad decided to perform a kenduri arwah on the 25th of July... it has been quite sometime since the last time we had one at my step mom's in Kota Tinggi.. so I told my hubby that I would like to go with the kids coz he couldn't come along.. initially my hubby decided to send me home on friday then he'll drive back to KL and come to pick me up on sunday after news.. but surveying air asia which offer me RM167.00 one way trip for me and the kids... we decided to opt for air asia...

My daughters were over excited to be on the plane again after the langkawi trip last february.. but I reminded them there'll be no drinks or nuts on the plane like before coz the langkawi trip was by MAS.. we arrived at LCCT around 7.05 a.m and our flight was at 8.15 a.m.. after checking in, we rushed into the mcdonald for a quick breakfast and then rushed for boarding.. unfortunately we were announced that due to operation error, the flight was delayed... no timing given.. so I had to call my bro who'll be waiting for me in Senai about it.. half an hour later we were allowed on board...

the stewardess was fond of adam and adam... as usual will show his cutest talent smiling and waiving... after all were set.. the plane should all ready to take off.. then I heard the fan slowing.. after a couple of minutes.. the pilot announced that the craft was having a technical problem.. " please be seated and make yourselves comfortable... oh my!! not again!! ten mins later, we were removed from the craft and waited in the waiting area for unannounced time.. and it took 2 hours for them to announce that we were ready for boarding... they were actually changed the craft... after boarding.. we still have to wait for them to load the bags and fueling...

luckily adam tak meragam sangat sound asleep after boarding... pity my bro.. he had to wait for us more than 3 hours in the airport for the unannounced delay... could be I am 'badi' when boarding on air asia... previously was my trip from singapore.. it delayed for more than 3 hours too.. so... should I fly with the craft that everyone can fly.. but me??? or just bear with my luck.. if any...

akhirnya..

Akhirnya berjaya jugak menyiapkan seluar anak kak zu... sorry kak zu, I took such a looooong time nak siapkan... 4 pieces altogether... now starting hari raya project for my princesses, my prince, and my emak-dalam-undang2 (which is mother-in-law ---pinjam words shila... )

Wooopss!!! I think I still have 4 pieces kain ela yang tak berjahit lagi... including the one my sis gave last year.. which I suppose to wear on Hari Raya 2008 but I didn't even touch it... yet... so.. wish me luck with all the bajus la....

that's a phrase that I picked up this morning through SINAR FM with Krill, KE and of coz Abang Jem... and suddenly this old folk song ring to me...

suddenly I am so impressed with this folk song.. how beautiful it is... it is a guidance by our ancestors for us to live our life... betapa manusia sering meletakkan kesalahan ke atas bahu orang lain.. menuding telunjuk sedangkan 4 jari lain sedia mengaku kesalahan sendiri... our ancestors did not send their children to kindergarten which cost you more than RM100 for you to gain knowledge.. not to mention kiddies that willingly charging you more than RM300 a month... but they leave you these folk songs as a guidance for you to live in harmony... having good faith with no cost...

moral of this song (purely my personal opinion):

1. Manusia akan menyalahkan orang lain sebelum mengakui kesalahan sendiri (there's no mention of human character in the song.. all the blames are borne by Allah's creatures other than human)
2. Manusia sanggup mencari punca kesilapan hingga ke akar umbi dan tak akan berputus asa selagi tiada jawapan (finally.. the ULAR la punca segalanya....)
3. Berhati-hatilah dengan sikap manusia
4. ...errr... tu je kot yang terpk....

so.. let us dig all the folk songs and find our path to happiness....

first day...

well... this is my second attempt creating a blog... the previous one last only for two months.. so I hope that this one will last longer if not forever.. hmmm.. one of the reasons I created a blog is to post my projects aka small business.. berkat ajaran my only sister.. I baked Pineapple Tart for my regular customer on hari raya.. (though penah rasa muak buat tart ni and in fact I stopped baking for a couple of years sebab my sis make me baked them all day long sampai tertidur tepi dough masa dia jual tart back in 1992.. poor me)...

but now I have to thank her that dah boleh buat side income... thanks to my regular customer.. in fact ada yang dah order for this coming raya though puasa pun tak sampai lagi!!

on top of that... I do some sewing... my own baju and for my children.. and some of my frenz.. some creative works like hantaran for my bro and bro in law.. I love doing it!!

ni buat for my brother's engagement.. I want it to be potpuri dok kat keliling cincin tunang tu.. but terpaksa akur when my grandma wanted it in traditional way... bunga rampai... in fact my family bawak daun pandan serumpun dari Johor... apa nak buat.. keliling rumah semua simen... and I baked that kek asam manis...



this one I made for my bro in law's engagement.. my mother in law wanted d theme to be purple... and I love it!! Purple!! masa ni first time try buat bunga dip... alhamdulillah menjadi...

so... bloggers... hope you will enjoy my blog as I enjoy my life... doing what I love to do...
